Dzięki @kawasaki.
A teraz trochę z moich poszukiwań.

polecam stronkę:
h**p://www.draisberghof.de/usb_modeswitch/
jest tam soft
usb_modeswitch do inicjacji modemu;
2.
h**p://www.draisberghof.de/android/pppwidget.html
z widgetem do monitorowania stanu modemu, z dość ciekawą informacją:
On smaller tablets (often 7" devices) there is sometimes not enough power available for attached USB devices.
Wireless modems are among the devices with the highest power demand (500 mA straight). Usually, only larger tablets can provide that much power on their host ports. Smaller ones often have their limit at 100 mA which rules out using a large array of devices. One notable exception is the Nexus 7 which works fine with many 3G sticks attached directly - but even with this tablet I have at least one of my test modems go into a reset cycle once it starts the cell search.
The problem goes away when I use a powered hub.
In short: if your modem works when connected directly, you are just lucky!
w skrócie: małe tablety mają problemy odpowiednim zasilaniem modemu i mogą nie działać. USB hub z własnym zasilaniem jest wskazany.

polecenie shella
Kod:
root@android:/system/xbin # lsusb
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 1307:0165
gdzie ID 1d6b:0002 to USB host
po podłączeniu modemu nic się nie zmienia, cisza, a to podstawa do dalszej pracy, o której będę informował, jak tylko kupię USB huba z możliwością dodatkowego zasilania.
